Slimline Clips

Apologies if this is the wrong forum.

I was looking at the slimline clips that Woodturningz has. Do you know what slimline kits (manufacturers) they are compatible with? Currently, I have some Legacy kits that I bought when I started turning and want to use them on that if possible.

They should work. The legacy is a slimline kit. I don't see why they would not work. Woodturningz sells penn state products. Not sure about the legacy.

For other slimline clips check out Woodnwhimsies.com

Also, measure the diameter of the Legacy tube(s) and compare with the slimline tube diameter.
The outside diamter of the slimline tube is 0.267"

You can ask your potential supplier to measure the inside diameter of the ring on the clip you are interested in to try to get an good idea if it will suit the Legacy.

Just a quick FYI. I have yet to find an add-on clip that I didn't have to use a Dremel tool to enlarge the ring so it would fit over the cap. Not a bad thing just something to be aware of.
