I suppose you could use the term "over-zealous" but "over-the-top" might be more accurate. Lance is correct, Jeff pulled the plug on their account after they posted in "Individual Classifieds."

We have already taken care of the problem. If you notice, topics that were posted in inappropriate forums have been deleted and the proper correspondence with the offender has been made. That said, there is nothing in the rules that prevent this vendor, or any other for that matter, from posting in the business classified forum every day if he wants to.

I will let Jeff chime in on the status of his account but I believe he has reconsidered since the posting in the individual classifieds section could very easily have been an honest mistake. Regardless, the suggested way to deal with concerns such as this is to send a message to one of the moderators stating your concerns. That way it does not end up being a dog pile situation!

Curtis, thanks for the update on this. I was not aware that the Moderators had delt with the situation. I had noticed the posting in inappropriate forums, which is why I posted this one. I in no way wanted to start a "dogpile" But, I can see where this could end up as one.

I am closing this and would ask if you might lock it up also.

My tolerance is low for people who do not follow repeated, clear instruction. So, I bounced Jack because he had been warned several times not to splash his ads all over the site. However, Curtis suggested that the language barrier might be a factor, and recommended that I reconsider booting Jack. I did that, and unlocked Jack's account. I also warned him that a single additional post for items for sale from his company made anywhere but the Business Classifieds forum would result in his permanent ejection. I think that's fair.

Jeff,

I think that is an excellent solution. He seems to have some people interested, but, if he is posting here, he needs to communicate with THEM, so I would think the language is only a "limited" barrier. Possibly even a "barrier of convenience".

I agree completely with your decision and your assertion that he conform to your direction.

[:D][:D][:D]Have Curtis explain it to him in simple words[:D][:D][:D]

<br />Ok, seriously. Does anyone believe that guy's name is actually Jack? [:D]

While on a 3 week tour of China a couple of years ago, all our guides had "easy" names. Our first was "Morgan"... He chose his name because his english teacher would say "Guten Morgan" as she entered class everyday [:D]

We also had "Tony", "Connie", "Kevin", "Allie", "Frank" and "Doris"

Thats funny, English teacher, "Guten Morgen" is actually German and means "Good Morning".

Anyone ever had to do with the phone "support" of computer companies in India? They all have English names, but I always aks them for their real name....
