Great idea for that piece of wood that's so perfect you'd hate to cut in segments. Took me a while to determine what twisted the pen in and out. But I got it. Even more a great idea!

Great idea and execution. I really like it. I would personally like it if it swelled out and wasn't so straight. Looks awesome.

Thanks for the comments guys. The wood is mesquite. That's my experimenting wood because for me it is very predictable.
I made it straight to keep the size down, but the next one I make will have more "body".
