Sierra Transmissions

Are the transmissions for the Sierra Vista interchangeable with the transmissions used in the Elegant Sierra kits?

not always, as there are several manufacturers of this style of pen. Some have a 2 part transmission, some have more of a shoulder above the lower section. I haven't run across a different thread, but that wouldn't surprise me.
