What can cause pens to be out of round besides the mandril being bent? I am having this problem with sierra pens.

Sierra buishings tend to be a little loose, and there were some bad ones sold for a while atround the first of the year. Do a search on Sierra bushings and you will find the threads that discussed this problem.

Could be getting the blank hot as well and this allows for an out of round piece. I had this problem about a month ago, trying to push getting it round tooooo fast.
