I bought this kit online as a "Black and Gold Sierra" and thought it would be gloss black plastic. The pic was too small to see any differently. Only bought one (now wish I had bought more). The black isn't very black and feels like it's metal the ends are very heavy too. I have a thought what it might be but don't want to jump to conclusions in my newbiness.

Edit - I put a gloss black screwdriver handle next to it to try to highlight that it's got a greyish tint.

If you are looking for a Black and Gold check out smittyspenworks.com. He has a Black Chrome/Gold TI LeRoi. I have a bunch of his LeRoi's and Elegant's and they are very nice.

The grip and finial should be metal...it can be many colors. Black Titanium is usuall a grayish...black Chrome is black. Gun Metal is also sort of gray. The Gold can be 24K, 10K, Gold Titanium Nitride or possibly some others. All will look fairly close although if you put them side by side you might see a difference. There are two basic variations on the style...lower barrel twist operation and upper barrel twist operation additionally some suppliers might have a click version. All will use a Parker Style refill.

Looks like Black Ti/Gold Ti to me. I've done a few of these, which can be bought for $12 if you shop around.
