The weather forcast say our weather is changing no more 90 deg this year. Well I was cleaning up the shop this mornign and decide to put the window AC away for the year and reinstall the glass in the window. Shouldn't have done that. The wall with the window faces West and boy is it warm in that shop with the sun on that side of the building. Trying to assembel Autism Puzzle Kit, Jr Gentl, kinda hard with sweat running in my eyes. The little fan I have is not cutting it. Tomorrow it will be cooler. and possible rain on Sunday.

I have taken to wearing a headband when turning to keep the sweat and the dust out of my eyes. The temperature here today is almost 20 degrees cooler and it is on its way toward you. Guess that Indian Summer is over, I hope not.

I like Indian Summer as long as it is cooler than Valley Summer. 80'S are fine, need to to some work out in the yard so the cooler Temps will be appreciated. After being kind laid up with some health issues this past year can now do some of the heavy stuff that needs to be done. Sure glad I had Pen Turning as it kept sane and gave me something to get out of the recliner for. Now I am almost back to 100% or will be as soon as I get in shape.

Slower Lower Delaware

Well I could have used some 90's today.. up on a telephone pole with
horizontal rain/sleet and the wind trying to take me for a ride..
They got 10" of snow a few miles from here..

Well I stayed out of my shop but in my house here in Slower Lower Delaware all summer. I probably could have worked but decided to stay cool instead.

Temps here can run up to about 110 but are usually between 90 - 100 in summer. Fortunately we have an almost daily rain throughout the summer which cools things down.
Its not the heat that really bothers me but the 95% humidity that comes with it.

Over here where I live it is dry with grey skys, tomorrow looks like more of the same!
Temp: 10°C
Current: Clear
Wind: W at 6 km/h
Humidity: 93%

I remember the hot Sacramento summers. 45 years worth. Now just for torture purposes, I moved to San Antonio 10 years ago and added humidity to the misery.

81 today, tomorrow Fall kicks in big time 72F and chance of showers my high 70s one day next but it looks like hot weather is gone until May. Your it may hit 110F in the summer but the humidity is 15-20% so you can cool off. Bad thing is during the late Fall and Early winter we can get Tulie Fog or Valley Fog where it hangs below 1000ft and is grey and cold low of 40 F high of 43 F day after day and the fog drops down to 0 visibility in the early morning and in shouthern part of the Central Valley it may stay that way all day. Many serious multi vehicle accidents in that stuff.

I can't wait for the cooler weather! No A/C in the garage and Southwest facing doors mean either let the hot sun in or bake in a closed garage. I must admit that we have been lucky this year with reasonable summer temps but we had a brief come-uppence over the past few weeks. We moved to the area about ten years ago and chose to live where we do (about 1,300 feet) specifically to avoid the valley/Tule fog (and it cools off a bit better in the evenings).

well, it rained today and the weather has been in the 50's all day. It looks like Indian summer is over. The winter vegetables that I planted at the end of a very cold, wet summer will be doing well now that winter is here.

Still well into the 90s in Phoenix. The AC is permanently mounted in the shop window so it is always available. We can get temps near 90 in the winter here and my shop is on the south side. Don't need much in the way of heat in the wenter though.
