well looks like the decision has been made today. thanks to the good lady. i am biting the bullet and putting in a pellet stove in my wookshop. this is the culmination of a lot of shopping, googling, reading, asking, posting, more reading and lots of thinking.
my angle on this is that i love the idea of a wood burning stove, my issue with that is that the clearances needed would use up so much space that i don't want to sacrifice. the other is that i don't get alot of workshop time. so to stoke a fire and then have to watch it die down when i'm done would use up a lot of valuable time. the pellet stove seems to be more instant and when you are done there is only a small amount of pellets to burn out before turning in for the night.
my idea was to install it and cover the install and lots of feedback for anyone interested.
i will keep you posted on this thread.
thanks and talk soon
it might be good to point out that i live in canada. so that means i lose about 5 months of workshop time.
