A few months ago I bought a Shop Fox mini lathe. Worked great for turning small items, pens, boxes etc. A week or so after I bought it the VS control board went out. No problem, 2 yr warranty and they send me a new one. Well, it went out again, called the company, said new control board on the way. It arrived only it was for a 220 volt! Called to complain and got the correct one today. The box felt a little to heavy. Opened it up and lo and behold, a new VS AND MOTOR. Sometimes it pays to complain.:biggrin:
