Found out this morning that my youngest dog has an 'aggressive cancer' eating at her. Discussed things with the wife and we will be putting her down as soon as possible. She seems to be 'okay', but the cancer is going to start 'hurting' her soon, so instead of making her suffer so we can spend more time with her...we'll do the hard thing.(which by the looks of things will be this next coming weekend-the soonest the vet can do this).

Gonna be kind of weird for me around here this next week....so be patience if you order something from the website and I get 'sidetracked', I will get it out as soon as possible. Just wanted to let y'all know....

A friend posted this earlier today on FaceBook after recently losing a pet and thought it might fit this situation. Sorry your losing your friend.

That sucks. Had roughly the same thing happen to our dog a few years ago and made the same call after an MRI showed why she suddenly started having big seizures and medicine wasn't helping.

She's lucky to have family that's able to make tough choices with her best interest at heart.

I'm sorry to hear the news Scott. We've been there more than a few times - it didn't get any easier. The only solace was knowing that a loved one was no longer in pain. Always remember the good times - and don't be afraid to shed a few tears along the way.

The fact that this is a tough decision shows what a good person you are. I know and have known many who don't blink an eye.

You'll miss her but she will be waiting for you on the other side of the bridge.

Brought a tear to my eyes as just last month we had to put Tony our 14 year old corgi down, it still hurts but we were luck in that Dee made me buy another dog last year knowing that Tony was getting old, we called the new one EZ and he has made it easier. We'll always have good memories of Tony and Scott so will you of your dog.

So sad, I also know how you must be feeling as I have always had dogs too, my old border collie (14 years) is curled up on the sofa next to me snoring as I type this, God bless.

Thanks everyone....don't know what tomorrow is going to be like? Just wanted to let everyone know that the "Weekend Specials" section of the website will be closed this weekend....I don't think I got anything ready and I don't really have my 'heart in it'....sorry.

She is having steak, pretty rare....

Scott... My thoughts are with you tomorrow... For the best... Not a comforting message, but an honest one!

Since it is tomorrow here is Afghanistan, I am praying that you all take this day with ease. Spend time with your pup pup. I know that our fur babies are like family. Good vibrations headed your way Scott.
