Very nice!!! I love the different shades found in this wood and you have a beautiful arrangement. I have not tried either of these pen designs yet but now you have me thinking about it.

I have not experienced any color changes in this wood, I don't think it does.

Kevin, I think you will like the Jr. ball pen kit, very well made.

Thanks for the comments.

Peroxide blonde or not, it's very nice, Anthony! So are the other two for that matter...even though the Wallstreet design is not one I'd turn for myself. I guess that's why our suppliers offer such a variety, eh?

Great job Anthony. I am currently working on a European desk set for a guy that I work with. I should have it done by the end of the week and I will post some pictures then. I'm making it out of the cocobola that I got off of this site from someone. I can't remember off the top of my head who it was. Anyway, great job and great selection of pens.

No Mike, peroxide orange [:D]

Bill, I do okay with the Wall Streets, not a top seller,
But surprising, I get clients that only want a cross refill,
So I push this vs a twist pen. I like how the one piece
design, doesn't break up the wood pattern & the mechanism
in the kit is a good one.

Anthony, all three look good, don't think I've seen a shade of cocobolo I don't like. Its one of my favorite woods. Right up there with Becote. Thanks for sharing!

I like the wallstreet it has great balance, and you can do a lot with the pen. Although the best sellers in it are just like you did. Double taper makes a nice pen with that. Great for showing off unique woods.

Thanks for the comments, I had a forth one that was almost black, really nice.
But being so dark, I just can't get the finish the way I wanted. I'm on my third try.

Anthony

Nice looking pens Anthony!!

If you are wondering about the darker one and why it won't finish good...I have found that the darker will have significantly more oils than the lighter pieces. With lacquer, you will probably have to seal with CA before putting it on. If you don't, it seems to be "patchy" and not cover good.

Your wallstreets are very nice! Actually they are all nice but the wall street
sure gives a danish modern type of style. Something you don't see very often.
Yours look stunning! Good work.

Thanks for the comments,

Bill, thanks for the finishing tip, I used the Maters spray again, but on the Jr. Ball pen, I used CA, because of some slight hair line splits, I wanted to make sure it didn't come apart.

I will give it another try, if the damn thing wasn't so pretty, I would have pitched it by now.

Dog, the kit is an exclusing for Woodcraft, made by the Cross Pen Company,
But still made in the Orient. Here is the link....

Thanks Anthony. Maybe I'll pick up one or two this weekend. I was planning on going to WoodCraft anyway to pick up a 37/64" drill bit for the Gentlemen's pen kit I have waiting to be turned. Man, that's a big tube!
