Semester at Sea

My son is one of the lucky "displaced" students...mold was found in his dorm building so he has been living in an off-campus hotel for the last week. Admin found a creative and fun solution to the problem.... most of the kids are "on-board" with the solution!

they are pretty sure they can get right up to the dock...but a 300' ship in the St Mary's River will be something to see!

Let's hope your son gets one of the state rooms and not some third class room on the interior of the ship. This should be a great experience for him and may even look good on his resume. Adapted during finals and still got top grades.

Shouldn't be a problem tied to the dock, they don't roll much. I just hope the kids don't get to roudy and start to rip the thing apart. Trust me I have worked on ships most of my adult life and am currently writing this in my room aboard the M/V edgar B. Speer. You don't want to upset the engineers or you may wake up to find your shower has been turned into the new sewage holding tank.:smile-big:
