#### Update 9/3/2025 ####

I will be parting out everything in separate threads. One for materials, one for tooling and probably one for miscellaneous. This thread is now closed.

######################

*NOTE: Pictures do not represent everything included - it's just what was immediately in my vicinity for snapping a quick picture with my phone.

As you may or may not know, I have officially shut down F3 Pens (Fisher of Pens) as of the end of 2024 and will not be returning to pen making directly due to moving on to other interests.

I'm looking to sell off all of my tooling and whatever leftovers I have including a small stock of blanks, jowo nibs and whatever else in the shop falls into the pen making realm.

The main machine is a Little Machine Shop 7550 lathe with tablet based DRO seen here: https://littlemachineshop.com/products/product_view.php?ProductID=7550

I also have a fair number of upgrades including R32 chuck and collets, solid machined aluminum tool rest block (rigid replacement for the compound slide) but I will also include the original compound slide. All change gears and whatever tooling I have for it including cutters, boring bars, etc... The machine obviously shows use as I've cranked out a few thousand pens off this thing but it still works perfect.

I have taps and dies for all of the preferred custom pen sizes including D2 and D3 sets from M10 through M14 and singles and odd sizes to cover just about everything you'd run across when making custom "kitless" style pens, odd size drill bits, etc...

I don't have a fixed inventory or price yet, but if you're interested please reach out to me and we'll see if we can work out a deal. Everything you need to get up and running or upgrade your current setup if you're looking to step into metal lathe custom pen making.

I'm not necessarily interested in the whole setup, but if you are piecing out some of the odder taps/dies and boring bars, I would be interested. I am not interested in m10-m15 triple starts, but you mention some odd sizes and those I would be interested in.

Hi all. I may list out individual pieces in the near future but would like to try to give someone a great start in custom pen making with everything they would need.

However if I can find a buyer for the lathe locally, the rest at that point would go up for sale individually.

Also, sad to see you go Carl!
Thanks. I'm not completely removed as I'm still offering engraving services, but I just won't be making pens anymore. I have too many other irons in the fire with all of my maker stuff and the YT channel that I just can't keep up with what is needed to keep that side of the business running.

Hi all.

I've had a lot of DMs asking about individual bits. Right now there are 2 scenarios.

1. I sell it all as a big package to either start someone new off right in custom pen making or give someone a big upgrade in one shot. Have to be able to pick up in Southwest Florida.

or

2. I sell the lathe locally

If #2 happens, I'll inventory and list all of the individual bits and pieces at that point. Dibs to those who messaged me already before I open everything up for general sale.

Stay tuned. Give it a little time to see if I can move the lathe.

Ok, after sleeping on it, I think I'm better off parting everything out.

Stay tuned for a new thread that I'll add to as I go trough everything. Previous DMs will get first option in order they were received.

Thanks.
