Yes, got them from Rick.Looks just like the ones I got from Rick Herrell - so much simpler than 3 or 4 separate drill bits![]()
Ohhhh! This is a thing? Hmmmm, would be nice to reduce the number of drill bits needed to crank out kitless. I may add this to my list. Good to know.I have used multiple bits to drill the section blank for threading for the last time. Purchased a custom ground step bit for both JoWo (5&6) and Bock (5&6). Drilling for a section can not be any easier or more accurate on a wood lathe.
Do a good turn daily!

If you use an ordinary drill chuck instead of a collet chuck is it still ok? The tiny wobble of the drill chuck will mess the threads? I am asking because my pin chuck is threaded and i can use it only on the headstock. Do i need to buy this ( or something similar) also if i go kitless?I have used multiple bits to drill the section blank for threading for the last time. I have used a Jacobs chuck to hold taps. Just make sure the tap is held securely on axis.If you use an ordinary drill chuck instead of a collet chuck is it still ok?
