This is the second of the matched pair of blanks I got from Phil. I did go through with the navy blue reverse paint. Thought about black, but I thought it would get better depth and less of a flat gray tone with the blue. On the third picture I included the first one I did with white tubes for comparison because I knew SOMEONE was gonna ask for it. I love how both of the blanks turned out, and it's been nice to get a couple of days in on the lathe without every pen I tried failing on me. Part of the delay in returning to the shop.
