Under the Search button on the top blue bar, I don't see much difference between "Show Threads" and "Show Posts".
I must be missing something. Can someone please enlighten me. Thanks

Answer to the above question -
Show Threads - Searches for all the threads that have the keyword. That is in the subject and/or in any of the posts. The links are to the start of those threads, but you would have to search all the posts to find which ones have the keyword.
Show Posts - Searches the text in the posts for the keyword (not the subject). The list has links only to the specific posts with the keyword. So you don't have to search the whole thread for the posts.
Small difference but it may be useful depending on what your looking for. I generally use the Advanced Search as you can be very specific.
