I am using a particular dye on corn cob pens. I am getting a reaction between the yellow dye and the CA topcoat. The yellow magically changes to a reddish orange when the CA pops off. Pretty cool to watch, but all the same I'd like yellow to stay yellow. Can you use Enduro sanding sealer under the CA to maybe isolate the dye from the CA? I just read a post about putting down a little BLO first and then CA. I may try that. I know I can always switch finishes, but I'm liking the quickness of the CA. Thanks for any suggestions.
