It's been quite a few years since I made any salt and pepper mills, and I'm also now making the nutmeg grater/grinder.
Do any of you seal the inside with lacquer or CA? My thinking tells me they should be sealed with something to prevent moisture from being absorbed from the inside. Any and all input would be appreciated.

My good friend makes & sells salt and pepper mills without sealing the interior. The exterior food safe finish is applied
to wood that is below 10% on the moisture meter.
