Im doing a sea glass themed pen. I made this all as a single part to minimize what you see through the resin. The hex will act as an ink window and roll stop. Any suggestions on howbest to polish up the hex portion?

I am not aware of any power tools that would do a good job, or maintain the symmetry of the hexagon, especially when using the coarse grit's starting off. I am thinking that the best option is do it all by hand. It would be time consuming and tedious but it should yield the best results.

By hand, slow, lots of water/lubricant, and consider a flat surface - either hand held or on your bench. A buffing wheel will aid in the final stages. At the end, I use Maquires Plastic polish. Take your time to retain the symetry. Interesting design - I hope you post a final product. đź‘Ť
