Yes they certainly can be used ... the only thing is one of the tubes needs to be shortened slightly for the triton. Alternatively you can stretch the spring. I prefer the first choice myself. Let me go check my measurements on what the exact lenth should be.

The Triton tubes are 1 55/64 and 1 29/32

The Jr. Gent II tubes are 2 5/64 and 1 29/32

at least that's what my notes say.:smile:

Check those with the ones you have and if something doesn't seem right let me know and I'll re-check some actual tubes.

Is it the barrel tube that needs shortened?

On the Jr. Gent II the larger diameter (upper) tube measures (corrected) 1 57/64 long
the lower barrel tube (smaller diameter) measures 2 3/32 long

The Triton upper tube (large diameter) measures exactly the same (1 57/64)... no trimming required .
The lower tube (smaller diameter) measures 1 55/64.

So trim the Jr. Gent II lower tube to 1 55/64 for the Triton.

Or...... Leave the bottom barrel the same as a jr gent II and just use a longer spring. Either way will work. The difference in length is only 1/8th inch.
