Screaming Yellow Gent I

Having owned several Tri 5's I've always been a fan of the trim work.
My favorite was a 57 painted yellow and I've tried to carry that feel over to my pen work on this one.
In keeping things simple,the tubes were painted yellow the chrome taping was applied and it cast cast with PR that had a slight (just what stuck to the mix stick when I dipped it in the dust) amount of holographic dust.
Turned and polished.

Nice job Mark. The stripes really set this pen off making a yellow cast pen into a really cool pen. Great job.

Nice pen! The title made me think somebody finally lost their mind and cast some screaming yellow zonkers. I don't think I've seen those in 20 years:wink:

Wow that is a great looking pen. The black stripes really set of the yellow. Stunning fit and finish

Cool pen! The color will really stand out, very easy to find especially when mix with other stuff and the stripes create nice accents. Great job!

Hey skip, The trim work was actually cut for me at a sign shop. I drew out what I wanted and the guy cut a sheet of them for $10. after that It's a matter of peel and stick.
Because the cut work is so fine you have to be VERY careful when peeling the
graphics off the foil sheet. I did go back and forth on two pieces of trim on a single pen but the Gent I has limited real estate to play with and it seemed crowded.
