Scorpion Redheart Wenge

This is a screw cap Scorpion rollerball pen, in gunmetal, from Woodturningz. The cap is redheart, and the body is wenge. I love the contrast between the two woods. The kit has some nice details. The finish is Pens Plus.

This actually started out as all redheart, last April, but the body developed cracks. So I disassembled it and used wenge. I actually like the pen better with the two different woods. The Pens Plus really darkened the wenge.

Jim I am with you. I think people are afraid to use two different woods or acrylics for cap and body. I like this combo alot. To me makes a statement. Nice job as usual.

I agree. I really like the red and black with the scorpion theme.
