Just won the e-bay auction for my new powder-coat oven. Not quite as big as a real oven, but a major leap over the toaster oven! The best part is the guy selling it lives in my town and will bring it home with him and drop it off for me! I don't have easy access to 220v in my shop, nor the room for a full kitchen oven so this is a nice trade off and built for this kind of stuff, not for cooking food.

Not huge, the inside is 13" x 13" x 13" and the unit weighs 66lbs!!
Much better than the toaster oven and I do gain a lot of height so I can hang some stuff now.

Even better George, it runs on 110v!! That was the whole reason I bought it in the first place. I have two ways to get 220v into my shop. I can either track down some 50year old glass fuse inserts for my two open spots in my main breaker, or pay a good chunk of cash to upgrade the main panel and install 220v the right way. I want to go with plan B, but just so I can powdercoat in a bigger oven is low on the priority list! []

I thought it was 220 - guess I'm out of luck[] You got a great oven there though. You'll be the PC king of the forum in no time. Just remember not to use your retired toaster oven for toast!!

Phil what is really cool is that the racks can be adjusted every 1/2" inside the oven!

I went to their web page and noticed the new ones listed at a max of 270 degrees. Is this one different or is this hot enough for powder coat? I haven't had time to try out the new PC gun that LOML gave me but am planning to soon.

You misread the website.. It's rated to 270 degrees(C) which is 518 degrees(F) which is well high enough for powder coating. I just picked up a nice tiny 500 degree stick therometer to place inisde the oven so I can see the proper temps inside the oven.
