I've receicev a couple of emails from orders@pennstateind.com. They sent a link for order tracking that looks very realistic but since I haven't ordered anything from them I just deleted the email. When the second email came I was suspicious. I'm just wondering if anyone else has received any of these emails. I think I'll try calling them on Monday.

you'll know for sure if a package arrives.

Thank you for the post Dan.

Maybe this is a good place to add this:

On Monday and several weeks ado, I received an email ostensibly from PayPal stating that my account was suspended due to suspicious activity. I called PP, and they said my account was fine and confirmed that they did not send either email. It was also odd that the bogus email was not sent to my PP email account. There was nothing amateurish about the bogus email.

I have received bogus email shipping notifications ostensibly from PSI - within the last month.

If you get an authentic email from PayPal, it will have your name. The bogus ones usually say "Dear Customer" or something similar.

Dan,

Please look at the HEADERS of the email and report back. This will tell us the true origin.

I deleted the emails but when I compared them to some legit emails from PSI they looked exactly the same, as far as I could tell. If I get another I'll look at it a little more thoroughly.

Emails from places where you don't expect them are quite common these days. I don't open them.
