Saturday the 8th!! Turn for Troops

Once again, from 9 AM through 5 PM closing time, WoodCraft in Milwaukee is hosting the Turn for Troops!

Everyone is invited to stop in and turn a pen or twenty! If you turn at the event, the blanks and kits are all provided by WoodCraft. If, instead, you stop by and donate pens you have already turned, WoodCraft will give you an equal number of slimline pen kits.

As the locals already know, there is always coffee and usually popcorn available!! (No charge)

And, of course it's a chance to "meet and greet" fellow penturners. Often a chance to help a novice learn about penturning.

So, COME ON DOWN!!!

Woodcraft is located on Greenfield Avenue, west edge of Milwaukee. (West of I 894, about 4 miles.)

DENVER is holding this as well. I was over and contributed one I made there. It was very interesting and fun. They had 10 yr old kids, women, and men of all ages participating

Look who came in to turn and teach today. Ed Brown from Exotic Blanks. Ed even turned wood. :biggrin:

We had a great turnout today and were busy helping customers turn pens all day. At days end we had turned 60-75 pens.
