Satin finish with CA

Just had a customer who placed a special order ask if I could do a satin finish. He prefers it to the glossy CA finish. Is there a way to do a satin while maintaining the durability of a CA finish?

Just don't sand the ca as much, say only to 4k or 6k micromesh or take it all the way to glossu and knock the shine back with steel wool or lower grits of micromesh.

That's it. I remember one of our members (I think it was Hank) publishing few photos of pen, which was sand to 12000 Mm, and then sand down to 4000 or 6000 MM.
