Santa is always in need of helpers, so I decided to round up a few to send him. Hopefully they will have good work ethics and provide him with some productive work.

I've made similar turnings as birdhouses, but these are WAY COOL! I love them.

Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna steal these!

Thanks for comments and likes, they are appreciated. Mark, be my guess, but be careful, they become addictive to make and everybody wants one.

Those are cute. Take off the hat and it looks like a friend of mine. One guy told him he looked like a garden gnome.
What did you use for the hair?

Great!!! Wife has the 40% discount app on her phone. BTW, wife says they are cute!
How did you turn the head and hat? Nose? Very interested for our woodturning club party next year.

The head and hat are all one piece and the nose is made from some old wooden car lights for toys that I had lying around, but can be made using a piece of dowel. I will post some pictures later today.

Here is Santa's Helper before he is finished and the fur that I use. Hope you enjoy making them as much I do.

Thanks. Are they hollowed from the bottom then turned to shape? Seems like it. Edit- Does the fur go around the whole turning?
