This was a Christmas gift I unwrapped this morning, tag said it was from Santa. You see in the last couple of months I have lost two really nice pens, one a Knurl GT with a very nice hybrid blank barrel and the second a Coyote twist pen with a stabilized cottonwood burl barrel. These were both lost while grocery shopping. Upon opening this gift, my wife says "those are grocery pens".

Clever. Reminds me of when I do my craft shows and I have people looking at my pens and after a long sales pitch they decide to walk away and I would always say well I have a gift for you for listening to my sales pitch and hand them one of those old school bic pens. Had the white ones with the blue or black caps. We always chewed on the caps. Yea you know what I am talking about. I see you hiding there. :p Not sure if they get the irony or not. Those you got look actually real nice. :)

I get her side of the discussion. BUT I always carry a pen I made so I could show it off. That's also why I carry a good one and not one I'm not pleased with. You don't want to show off your flaws.
