Hi peoples,

I have decided to cut a bunch of e-cig blanks that I have made some time ago, they stop selling as the e-cig market went down and I got stuck with a large number of blanks that were part of an order that was cancelled at the last minute.

I still have a few hundred of these blanks/blocks at approx, 100x65x44mm cast with Epoxy resin made in Australian and using all sorts of my woods, pods, etc.

Due to the blocks dimensions and the nature of what was cast in the resin, some blocks only provided 4 blanks while others I was able to get 6 blanks using a super thin kerf bandsaw blade.

The average size of these blanks is 100x20x20mm some slightly shorter but not by much, its average weight is 40gr each.

I have divided these blanks into groups, they are all individually numbered so, you can select whatever numbers you so which, regardless of the group.

I will also provide a short explanation of each group.

Group - 1 AU$6.00 each

These are blanks cast with stabilised wood of various types, some wood was stabilised clear while others were dyed.

Group - 2 AU$7.00 each

These blanks were cast with my Banksia Hairy pods, the pod was cast longwise so the blanks were sliced in the direction of the pod's core, I call these, straight cut pod blanks

Group - 3 AU$8.00 each

This last group are blanks that were cast with the Banksia Hairy pod in cross cut orientation, the same way as my famous Resifills Hairy Banksia pods full-size pen blanks that many of you have already worked with.

Group - 4 AU$7.00 each

These were cast with the beautiful and rare Banksia Speciosa pods. They are also straight cut pod style.

Group - 5 AU$7.00 each

For those remembering the Palm root blanks I produced some time ago, these are the closest thing in appearance and coming from Coconut crashed/compressed husk that I then stabilised and dyed. Only a very limited number of pen blanks made of this material were ever made some time ago (at the same time these e-cig blocks were made) and they sold very fast, I don't think I recall seeing a pen made with one of them so I hope that will be fixed very soon...!

021.JPG022.JPG023.JPG024.JPG025.JPG

Group - 6 AU$6.00 each

This group of blanks were cast with the dry Coconut fibres.

027.JPG029.JPG030.JPG

Group - 7 AU$5.00 each

Only some of these are the glow in the dark blanks, the first pic are not glow but the second pic from 166 to 175 are strong glowing blanks, a lot stronger than any other glow blanks I ever made because I cast the coloured pieces using Polyester resin and very high amounts of coloured glow powders, this resulted in high concentration of glow and therefore a brighter and long lasting glow after initiated. (remember, glow needs to be activated/charged with some strong/bright light before it becomes visible in the dark)

Please make your selection and post here, I will also allow order to be made by PM however, this can trigger some confusion to those posting their choices on here, I will have to go with the request time but I would appreciate if choices/orders were made in here, thanks...!

Shipping costs are;

- AU$12.00 for 6 blanks
- AU$16.00 for 12 blanks
- AU$20.00 for 18 blanks
- AU$24.00 for 24 blanks

Additional AU$4.00 for every 6 blanks after the first 250gr

To make things a little easier, I will create a blanks list that will cover all blanks and groups, as soon as blanks are ordered, I will try to update this list here, however, you may need to follow the orders here through my Aussie night hours (time differences) as I will be a sleep then.

Have fun selecting...!:biggrin::wink:

Blanks still available (I apologise, I had it too confusing before, blanks numbers will be removed as they sell)

Currently I have a lot of money out on stuff, waiting for some to come in, but have some things around the house to pay for. But I got a few of these a while ago, and they are top shelf blanks.

There are two blanks numbered 88. I want the first one from Group 3.

I would like, please:

59, 60, 65, 67, 69, 70, 75, 77, 78, 80, 81, 82,
83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97

OK, that's it .... 24 blanks .... ships for $24, right ?

If I am right, there are 7 from Group 2 (@ $7 ea), 11 from Group 3 (@ $8 ea), and 6 from Group 4 (@ $7 ea).

Thank you. . Please send me your PayPal address. . Or maybe a PayPal invoice in USD would be better for my records.

I'm sorry mate, you are correct, I should have thought of that, I made it too confusing, I have changed it to "blanks still available" which in this case are all, I haven't sold a single blank yet, my fault...!

I will pick one blank at a time and edit this post as I go along.
George you can mark each blank sold as I post if you want.

I would like, please:

59, 67, 75, 78, 80, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 88, 93, 94, 96, 97

Hi Mal,

I was wondering why none of the blanks had sold, I didn't realise that I practically was telling that all blanks were sold and that was not what I intended, my bad, sorry.

I see you have 15 blanks selected, for the same shipping cost (AU$20.00) you can have 18 blanks in the box, have a look at my description of the shipping charges on the opening post.

George, I already calculated the total and sent the money.

Oh boy, you are on fire, mate...!:biggrin:

Yeah, I saw a Paypal notification but I had no idea from whom, now I know.

I'm sure all your calculations are correct, I don't need to bother/check with you, I trust you...!

Thank you for pointing some of the issues with my add, I'm getting old...!

Cheers

George,
Would you be willing to assemble an assortment based upon the following?
10 from group 1
5 from group 4
3 from group 5
4 from group 7 (good glowing!!)
2 more that you decide to get to 24 and fill the box.
I'm on a small phone for the next few days...too hard to see well enough to sort out which to choose and I know we won't be disappointed!!
Let me know if that works and if so, how/what to pay you. Shipping to USA.
Thanks,
Earl

Absolutely mate, why wouldn't I...?

Anything other the first 6 blanks or the first 250gr becomes a fairly economic option, at AU$1 per blank in shipping I believe is not a bad deal.

I will get your blanks sorted first thing tomorrow morning, it's 2:00 am here and I'm tired to make calculations so, I will let you know how much the total will be and payment will be through Paypal.

Thank you.

Thanks George--you likely picked better than I would have, and I appreciate you doing that. Looking forward to seeing them in person.

You're welcome mate...!

Between 1 and 2 weeks is the average time these parcels take to arrive from here, I also look forwards to seeing some of these blanks made into pens.

Cheers
