You have to have a copyright or trademark release by the holder of the copyright. That way it releases you of all legal problems down the way. Usually it is spelled out tht you can do one or two pieces. Otherwise the holder will spell out a fee for using their copyright. The release covers you and all of your subcontractors.
 
How about if a rotarian of a rotary club wanted it made for his club (and the request was sanctioned by the directors of same)?
You would need to check - some organizations the individual clubs have the right to use the logo's and some must buy anything with the logo from the parent. The directors of the club should be able to find out.
