Rotary CNC attachment for pens

I am in the process of trying to use a rotary attachment for my Gemitsu 4040 CNC. Has anyone else used this? It will take stock as narrow as 2mm. I currently use a laser for engraving but it really is burning instead of engraving. With acrylics it's a fine line between engraving and melting.

I've never done that but I think it's a great idea. Makes perfect sense. I hope you can make it work.
