I've got some rosewood slabs for sale which I've had probably 30 years which came from Martin Guitar in Pa. (which is where I lived before moving to Texas). A friend worked there and I traded quarter sawn oak for the rosewood. I don't know how long he had it before me.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

The slabs are cut from the outer part of the log on a saw mill to square up the beam. The pieces were just set aside for years. Bet they wish they had them now!!!! <o></o>
Pieces are cut to 23 ½" lengths to fit a LFRB (game board box) and sometimes a little shorter to fill the box. You can see pictures of each box lot for sale.<o></o>
