Rolling pin finish

I am going to turn my wife a french rolling pin for Valentine's Day, but I am not too sure how to finish it. I know it needs to be some kind of a food grade finish, but I'm just not sure what to do. Anyone have any advice??

I use a product called General Salad Bowl Finish for all of my food safe turnings, usually about 3 coats.
