Compassion is something else completely.
For almost as long as the University of Georgia and Auburn University have existed, we have been fierce competitors in college football. In fact, the AU/UGA rivalry is the oldest rivalry in the South and one of the oldest in NCAA.
Last night, members of the AU football team were murdered and critically injured for doing nothing more than being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Today, we, the members of the Dawg Nation, lay aside our rivalry and drop to our knees to pray for AU.
AU,We wish you God speed in your healing process, and for today, we are War Eagles.
