This is the first time I have got this red flag icon next to a cutomers order,it just says RISK ALERT.Anyone know what that is all about should I be worried about this customer?Thank You,Victor

the most common reason is an unverified address, or not having a
Paypal account. Could also mean suspected fraud, but I think they
would put a hold on an account where fraud is suspected. Once paypal
started allowing people to use credit cards without having a Paypal
account, the red flag started showing up. I don't think there is any
Paypal protection with regular CC transactions, only PP customers.

The address was confirmed,so I guess I should not worry.I have never seen the red flag maybe I should be doing more business since it can pop up just due to not having a paypal accont.When did they start letting people without accounts use credits cards?Thanks,Victor

Through another site I read that Paypal had the problem. Everyone was seeing the Red flags.

I was also wondering about this.I have had 4 of them pop up in the last couple days and they don't explain what they are for.All the customers were verified and it said the payment was there.It has been driving my wife crazy.

My wife had two flags two days ago and she had never had that happen before.

Not sure if this helps or not:
I've seen it once or twice and in each case it was a new user of PayPal that had proceeded to pay for the purchase through PayPal, but then took the time to verify their account after logging in. So by the time I got on and saw the transaction, it showed the transaction as going through and no problems (because they were now verified), yet the notification I got still showed an issue.
