Another cool weekend starting today. I am going to head out to the shop soon and see what I can get done. Having my daughter get up early this morning to mow the grass for me. After that I have no clue what we are doing. My wife's bday is tomorrow, but I already gave her all her presents hehehe. I always like starting off my day with a nice turning. How is everyone starting their weekend? Any big plans?

I'm off today, unusual. Working in the home shop, going to mow grass
later. It is trying to grow again!
We even had some funky fungus, mushroom type stuff growing in the yard after a recent good rain. guess the moisture was enough finally.

Day like everyday lately. Work on my sprinklers trying to keep my lawn green. I find it kind of amusing. I live in the desert part of Washington (state) and almost everyone works hard to keep a nice green lawn. My daughter lives in Portland, Ore. (green country) and most people there just let their lawns dry up in the summer. Guess us desert rats try to have all the green we can and the moss backs like to see some dry once in a while.

Got a good turn this morning. Now we are heading down to Laurelville to get some apples.
