I have a Rikon 12" Midi lathe that I have had since 2007. I had a problem with the headstock lock past warranty, and Rikon sent me a new lock complete at no charge. I upgraded my lathe to a VS system in Nov using the Rikon parts. I just had a glitch with the system, so I called Rikon and Rod walked me through a diagnostic sequence where he determined a capacitor may have gone bad. Again, new part in the mail at no charge. I just wanted to share a very Positive Customer Service expieriance. Too often we hear of the negative and not enough positive.
Be assured that when I move up to a larger lathe, Rikon will be one of the finalists.
