for the price range its in you will get your moneys worth, rikon is not allays great quality but will get you by

I bought the Craftsman version and have been pleased with it. It has a good miter table and guide better than the one that I had prior to it. YMMV.

I have the 1x5 and the 12" disk by rikon both are excelent, that being said i had tried the rikon 1x8 prior to the others and i went threw 2 of them and had to return them both. The motor gave out on both of them after just a couple days. But in my opinion the 1x5 surprised me it is a work horse and very sturdy!

Thank you for the input.I always say buy the best you can but things are tight so I think its a go.I do have the 70-100 lathe and have been very happy with it.well thanks again.
