I wear out the tightening bolt on my varigrinds constantly. I had Rick make me some new bolts to fit the varigrind and the bearing. Got in a bind and purchased a new varigrind about two weeks ago. The threads on it are already wearing so I replaced it. Yes I overtighten some.
