I have a rikon mini lathe and with it came a revolving center. It is ready to bit the dust. I'm searching for a revolving center now. Seems to me there too many choices in the CSUSA catalog. Any one you like the best. Works best for you.

thanks

Make sure whatever you get is made from hardened steel. Many (possibly most) live centers sold for wood turning lathes are made from soft steel, probably to keep prices down. After going through three of those, I got smart and spent a few extra dollars on a center made for machine lathes. It is hardened steel and I anticipate many years of use.

You can check with Johnnycnc and see if he still sells them. He had a listing in the B.C. and had good prices.
