What a great time I had at my Navy Reunion - the only sad thing is that we are getting so old, but most of us agree that's better than the alternative. We had a lot of long and interesting conversations and got brought up to date on everybody anyone has been in contact with. The era when I served was pretty well covered with a half dozen or so guys whose time on the KDB overlapped with mine.

I made my first visit to the WW II, Korean War and Viet Nam War memorials. I was particularily moved by the WW II and Korean War because I had brothers who served in both of those.

We also toured the aeronautics and space museum...There were a lot of planes there that were of great interest to me F-15, F-14, F-4 and a couple of others that I worked on and then the P-40, P-47, P-51, P-38 and B-24, B-29 from WW II the F-86 and Mig 15 from Korea and the SR-71 that Lockheed designed and built in about a year or so and it was used for over 20 years. What a place that is.
