Removing Black Ring?

Is it possible to remove the black ring on the cap of a titanium fountain pen (Jr. Gent II) and replace it with the material you are using?

I think I remember this being brought up in the past, but my searches haven't been able to find it.

If you are talking about the ring on the CB, then Yes. It is somewhat hard to do though. Hope it works out for you!

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. I thought I remembered a small tutorial someone posted about how to do it, but I can find it (if it even exists).

I've never done a Jr Gent but I believe the principal should be the same.
