I assembled the pen for my venue. After giving it the once-over, I noticed one gap between the blank (scrap of baseball bat) and the end. Obviously not square which, knock on wood, is a first and hopefully, the last. I feel that it can be corrected but am stymied as how to disassemble it due to the fit of the parts. Your suggestions are most welcome. Sympathies are appreciated.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. I don't have a solution, but was thinking someone should come up with a tool to disassemble click pens without destroying the mechanisms. Something like a transfer punch, but hollowed out to go around the plastic pieces. I wonder how well that would actually work? The thin walls might make it too weak to be effective? Anyway, just random musing about it. I'd sure like to know how to do this as well.
