Redwood pens

I have a friend who went her husband to California and brought me back redwood to make some pens out of. Redwood's not easy to work with, the final pens were the sixth and seventh that I made, they kept blowing off the tubes. Friend specified a very simple pen for her husband, I made her pen

fancier!

But here they are!

Good job on the pens. I have found that if you stabilize the Redwood it turns much easier and is less prone to blow out. If your interested in how I did the stabilization send me a pm and I'll send the details. It's quite an lengthy process but it does work (at least for me).
