Very Nice! I like how you used the black front section as the centerband when the pen is posted. I also like that it's not a fountain pen for a change. What did you use for the nib and refill?
 
thanks...this is my second attempt with the black center...with the first one i cut the tenon too shallow..the nib is from an Olympian...
 
Woah...love this pen. Clip or clipless works for me. Front section looks really well balanced and natural. So many roller ball kitless front sections look awkward to me. What material is that you are using? I would love to get some. Looks almost like my urushi..:wink:

Who would have thought a "plain" pen could look so expensive?

Also, I second what someone else said about part of the section becoming the black centerband. Nice touch.

its red lava form penn state..i work there...i do have a small can of urushi..took me forever to find...
