Red dyed black ash burl pen blanks

I need at least 2 but will take as many as 8 for a pen order. I made 1 pen from this & sold 6 of them. Now I realized I only had 1 blank of that material. I have some nopn dyed black ash burl- anyone know how hard it is to dye the material? Should I dye it after turning or before? It is important they all somewhat match in color.

Willing to trade or buy them- NEED quick.
