Good thing y'all don't have humidity to go with it! It would be like being in Arkansas when it's 95*F with 45% = heat index of 125*F

Yeah, the humidity is unusually low for monsoon season here this year...we are still running evap. I've only run the AC about a week so far this summer. Sure helps with the electric bill!

Let's hope, Sharon, that the El Niño does bring some rain this year. IDK about Phoenix, but we could sure use some rain where I'm at.

My wife's car was reporting that it was 110 outside today. I just went out into the shop and it's an oven out there. All I was able to do was clear some epoxy out of some Jr. Gent tubes I have glued up. About 5 minutes and that was it.

Fire danger is very high in my area right now.

Wondering......fire danger still high around y'all?
Need a bit of moisture, but heat and humidity is a bummer.

Scott (stay cool) B

Fire danger is high in the mountain areas of AZ. Down here on the desert, we get some brush fires, but the forest fires in the mountains are fearsome. We have three or four small wildfires burning up there right now, but no really major fires. During monsoon, most fires are lighting caused.

We had another record breaker (actually a double record breaker) yesterday. High of 115 and a record high LOW of 93. When I woke up this morning it was 92 on my back patio at 5 am.
