Lots of thick CA around the knot to make sure it is bonded to the board or plank . Thin CA into any of the other checks that are deep . What are you thinking of making ?

Don't wet sand, can develop an odor.

My personal experience is that those knots are wet and "smell"

My suggestion is to treat the knot throughly, preferably with milkbones

Hi Kelly, I think the first thing you need to do is get the "woof" out of it. Once that is achieved the possibilities are endless.
