Thank Goodness.
The only thing worse than climbing latters all day long is standing on the top step working over your head.
This has not been a fun couple of days but the hardest part is done.
plus we ran out of Insulation---I am installing Double Bubble Double Foil four foot wide roll that is a 125 feet long.
Hopefully the big payoff will be this summer------oh SWMBO has been right there holding the ladder for me.

Do you ever sleep. Keeping the fire going, turn BIG pieces and putting up insulation. I am going to invite out here and give you a vacation only doing 2 things a day. Be careful on that tall ladder, no sleep makes for mishaps.

I know it's kinda late . . .

I know it's kinda late . . . but you might have lights to go . . . and when I read "TOP STEP" I figured I had to comment even at the risk of being flamed by all the "Manly Men" . . .

You can do as I did and rent a small rolling scaffold unit for about $20.00 a week.

I did a 20' X 22' shop with wiring, insulation and hung (24) twin tube fluorescent fixtures. Had a place for my tools and it was like standing on the sidewalk.

The reason I said you may still have lights to go is because of what I saw in one guys shop. He installed the same reflective insulation you did. While needing to do the job before power was run to the building he used a 4' twin tube fixture off an extension cord. Initially it did just fine, but he said every time he added more insulation the room got brighter. If you need more light you may consider putting a few 4' twin tube fixtures facing up resting on top of the "ceiling joists" . . . .

Good luck on your project . . .
Steve

P.S. You can also rent a panel lift for about the same money. I used one put up 16 plus sheets of 1/2 plywood on ceiling by myself with no help. . . .

No ceiling----lights are already hung. Scaffolding would of been nice but there ain't a lot of space to move it around. There really was no easy way to do this short of hiring somone else.
