I bought one of these from Penn State a couple of years ago when they had them on sale for $7 and change. I have been very happy with it.

I got one just like that one at Harbor Fright and it did not work very good at all.
I replaced it with a real vise for pen making and its a night and day diffrence.

I did use the PSI vise for drilling blanks for awhile.
It was better than nothing.
I too have a proper pen blank vise from Paul in OKC.
I still use the vise for other things and it works very well.
